Bakuriani successfully hosted the 2023 FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships from 19 February to 4 March 2023.
There were 30 medal events on the programme: 16 for the freestyle routines and 14 for snowboarding. At Didveli spectators could enjoy watching the halfpipe, big air, slopestyle, parallel giant slalom, ski and snowboard cross events; while Kokhta-Mitarbi hosted the aerial events.
